2023 DODGE CHALLENGER – EVERYTHING YOU NEED

The 2023 Dodge Challenger remains an excellent choice thanks to its unbridled power and retro styling. The 2023 Dodge Challenger is available in nine base trims – SXT, SXT AWD, GT, GT AWD, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye, and SRT Super Stock. R/T Scat Pack and R/T models can be converted to T/A or Shaker models. Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and Redeye models can be ordered in standard width or Widebody form. 1320 returned for the final model year of this generation, providing drag-strip-ready capabilities for the Scat Pack Challenger, while the SRT Super Stock follows a similar path, providing many aspects of the 2018 SRT Demon in an 807-horsepower package.

2023 DODGE CHALLENGER STYLING & INTERIOR FEATURES

The Challenger features a classic muscle car interior with a simple design inspired by its 1970s predecessors and comfortable accommodations. Compared to its pony car competitors, the Dodge is much roomier inside, and adults can use the back seat. The Challenger’s wide front seats are comfortable for cruising. Still, even the optional booster seats don’t hug their occupants like those in the Camaro or Mustang do. The Dodge pony car has an extra seven cubic feet of cargo capacity in the trunk compared to the Camaro. This allows the Challenger to swallow two more bags of luggage than the Camaro. Fold the rear seats, and that advantage grows to six. The Challenger has a large center console drawer and usable space for a smartphone. Every Challenger has a version of Dodge’s easy-to-use Uconnect infotainment system. The multifunction unit includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as standard equipment.

2023 DODGE CHALLENGER SPECS

The standard V6 engine in the 2023 Dodge Challenger provides satisfying acceleration. Still, it can feel weak and out of place for such a heavy machine. Mid-range naturally aspirated V8 engines add old-school charm and are well-suited to daily active driving.

Challenger SRT Hellcat models feature supercharged V8s (with a broad powerband) that are incredibly powerful and deliver rapid acceleration from a standstill.

2023 Challenger Engine Options:

Base engine:

  • 3.6-liter V6 with 303 hp and 268 pound-feet of torque (standard in SXT and GT)

Available engines:

  • 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 410 pound-feet of torque and 375 hp (standard in R/T)
  • 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 475 pound-feet of torque and 485 hp (standard in R/T Scat Pack)
  • 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 with 717 hp and 656 pound-feet of torque (standard in SRT Hellcat)
  • 6.2-liter high-output supercharged Hemi V8 with 797 hp and 707 pound-feet of torque (standard in SRT Hellcat Redeye)
  • 6.2-liter high-output supercharged Hemi V8 with 807 hp and 707 pound-feet of torque (standard in SRT Super Stock)

2023 DODGE CHARGER – EVERYTHING YOU NEED

The 2023 Dodge Charger model will be the last muscle car. To mark the end of the Charger lineup, Dodge is releasing seven special models and expanding the number of Jailbreak models available on the SRT Hellcat. Aside from these changes, the 2023 Charger will be a transitional model.

The exterior design of this Dodge Charger model will remain the same as the current sedan on sale. The sedan has classic muscle car features with wide fenders, square headlights, a huge air intake, and a flexible front end. At the rear, the Charger has a square rear bumper, full-width tail lights, and large dual exhaust outlets.

2023 DODGE CHARGER STYLING & INTERIOR FEATURES

In contrast, the Charger’s interior is very functional but luxurious, with more rubberized materials than in an adult movie. Apart from excellent rear-seat legroom, passenger space is slightly below average. The simplistic interior design is a classic muscle car, but many options exist. Although the trunk is the same as most competitors, the Charger could fit more carry-on luggage than its competitors. It held 18 in total with the rear seat folded, beating out the Maxima and the Kia Stinger fastback hatchback by three. Its center console has plenty of space for small items and a slot next to the gear knob that’s perfect for storing your smartphone.

2023 DODGE CHARGER SPECS

The 2023 Dodge Charger will continue to be available with many engines. A 3.6-liter V6 engine will be standard, while a 5.7-liter V8, a 6.4-liter V8, and a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 will be optional. Power will range from 292 hp to 807 hp. The 2023 Dodge Charger will come standard with a Rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional.
